Last night ABC premiered Castle, a new series centered around bestselling mystery author Rick Castle who helps the police solve murder cases. The first episode included a fun scene of Rick talking shop with his poker buddies James Patterson and Stephen J. Cannell, both played by themselves. Imdb.com doesn't show the real authors coming back for more episodes, but if you're a fan of either writer it might be worth finding a rerun.
