Bestseller to Big Screen

From BookLetters:

"Author Jodi Picoult already has legions of loyal fans, but her fan base may be about to explode. Picoult’s best-selling novel, My Sister’s Keeper, is slated for major motion picture release on June 26. Cameron Diaz, Alec Baldwin and Abigail Breslin star in the adaptation of Picoult’s heart-wrenching novel about a child who was conceived specifically to be a bone marrow match for her older sister, who has been plagued with leukemia since childhood. Nick Cassavetes directed the film and based on his work with the big screen version of Nicholas Sparks’ The Notebook, this movie is likely to be a must-see."
