Jason Mott's "The Returned"

Officially released this Tuesday, Jason Mott's debut "The Returned",  a novel of how the world, a community and a family reacts when the dead return to life, has already been made into a TV series by ABC.



Renamed "Resurrection," it will premiere on March 9, 2014.



As if that wasn't enough, Mott has also released two short story prequels to "The Returned", "The First" and "The Sparrow." Although they are currently only available as Kindle books, but they are free!

"The Returned" has earned high marks from reviewers (Kirkus, EW, Publisher's Weekly, Booklist, USA Today) and appeared on the first LibraryReads list. Does it live up to the hype?
